Royal West Australian Historical Society

Stirling House in Nedlands has closed its doors, but staff and a small number of volunteers continue their good work behind the doors or in their homes. The History West newsletter will continue to be produced and the Society is calling for

  1. contributions to the newsletter relating to WA’s past or a photograph of an object that you value from the past.

  2. help in creating historical sources for the future

  • by keeping a weekly diary entry about the experiences of the past week and your feelings about your current life?

  • photographing changes in streetscape, shops and homes?

  • recording the technologies being used to keep in contact and what is being shared — images, humour, stories and such like?
